In NCAA 05 did teams change conferences? If so how does this happen?

I meant that after a season is over do you get offers to change conferences? I remember a college sports game allowing this but couldnt remember which one.

I believe they've had this feature since NCAA 04, but I know it was in 05.

how does this work then? When does a message come up to change conferences and how long does it take. I just took a MAC team to an undefeated season and want to change to a different conference where the competition is harder.
