Gameplay or Graphics?

Also, for all of you people who voted gameplay first, I'll bet at least half of you have posted "Such and such stadiums not right" or "Can you believe such and such teams facemask is colored wrong???" in one of these other threads in here. Heh. As I said, it's not an either/or choice so that is why I don't like this poll.

To me, the graphics haven't changed since 2003 and 2007 looks like they haven't changed so I would have expected some gameplay improvements instead of giimmick improvements.

Well, this isn't black or white either. The interviews do point out gameplay improvements in addition to the "gimmicks".

Ok, let's clear this up. I would love to have gameplay improved first. But this hasn't really happened over the years. So why not better graphics? Great! But guess what? Nada! What I'm saying is, it's a moot point and let EA write all they want about improve gameplay. Every year they fix one thing and break something else or over emphasize it. I enjoy 2004 probably more than 2005 or 2006. The game has stagnated and EA hasn't provided progress that has been viewed in a positive manner for the majority. Still, like schmucks we shell out our $50 each year. Yes, I'm guilty and weak....sniff...sniff.

I've played every game in the series and every single new game has had gameplay improvements with the exception perhaps of 2005 when it seemed to take a step backwards with WR drops and etc. I think from reading these threads there is some serious extremism anti-EA sentiment going on here.
