I love how this game is looking, so far. No more suction blocking??!! That's a huge step in the right direction. I hope that 4th of July date is correct. Can't freakin wait!

Everything sounds great, except...

Anyone know if the "user feedback" can be turned off? I hate those pop ups.

Re: Mad Scientist's NCAA '07 Impressions

They actually got the new jumbotron at Georgia's Sanford Stadium in game that was added last year, i can see my section my seats are at in pic. The actual pic of sanford stadium he used to compare is old. They added a new jumbotron and the flashy marquis boards all around the stadium between the lower and upper decks. Stadiums look very promising, to bad not all of them will be in this years version, but if gameplay is there, I can live with it. So what are they using for schools who didnt make stadium cut??? Current generation stadium models, or generic stadiums?

Maybe it's just me, but the coolest thing is the backgrounds. No longer generic mountains or the same 1 building.

When EA released their first PS2 version of NCAA, they attempted to give most of the BCS schools (along with a few of the higher profile non-BCS schools) detailed stadiums. For the 40 or so schools that didn't make the cut, they had one of several different generic stadiums (bowl, double bleacher, etc.). Each team had reasonably accurate field markings as well as team specific signage, but the actual architecture of the stadiums did not change

I suspect that a similar approach will be employed for the schools in the 360 version of NCAA that didn't make the "lucky 70".
