Has anyone played both? The xbox version is truly superior. It almost felt like I was getting a new years version of NCAA.

I recently got rid of my slim ps2 because of the way the dvd/games loaded and bought an xbox to replace it. (for both movies and games) Didn't work right in my entertainment stand yada yada yada...Anyways, the one game I got for it was of course NCAA.

1st off, the load times. There are none! Well, there are, but it's like having a broadband internet connection (xbox) versus having dial-up (ps2)

But the biggest difference has to be the animations! The xbox has so many more animations and i noticed this right away. I played hundreds of games of ncaa '06 on the ps2 and didn't see some of the animations I saw on the xbox version after 1 or 2 games.

I was conflicted on getting rid of the ps2 because of games like Metal Gear but am somewhat glad I did since I wouldn't of been able to experience an improved ncaa. Makes the game fun and new again.

If I said something wrong my bad. I'm not bashing the ps2 at all. It's a great system. I was just stating what I saw in differences from the xbox vs. ps2 and was a little excited about that I guess...this is a videogame board correct?

Loading times on the XBox gives it the biggest advantage to me IMO over the PS2. Both play pretty much the same I thought, but with better graphics on the XBox.

Differences are minimal, imo.

Xbox because the Xbox S controller is 100000x better than that piece of crap known as a playstation controller.

The only thing I didn't like about NCAA '06 on X-Box was I thought there were still too many dropped passes. OK, one other thing, CPU being able to complete too many bombs. One more thing, simmed stats for QBs unrealisticly great (too many over 70 percent completion rates).

I've heard the PS2 version didn't have as big an issue with the drops, but don't know that for sure.

Getting back to your original point, I think most would agree X-Box is generally better for sports game than PS2, at least I don't recall too many people saying the PS2 is better in that regard.
