New Offensive Formations for 360

New formations I see are:

Shotgun Normal Flex
Shotgun Slot Strong HB Wk
Shotgun Trio (there's also an Ace Trio)
Shotgun Spread Flex

GatorBait...I actually almost used that as my ID on this site last year. Good catch with the playbook. I just hope we can run the Urban Meyer shogun spread option on the 360. If there are spread option types of plays and formations, then I will be pretty satisfied with that. Yeah, the current gen will have more trick plays and some more interesting formations, but I can live without as long as there is more flexibility on the offensive end that we saw in prior versions of NCAA.

I'm really, really liking those new formations. The one in that second pic looks a little scary for both sides.

I hope ur being sarcastic or something because these are obviously current gen. Do the graphics or articles out there not tell you something?

The playbooks will be expanded in 360, but not the "trick" or very unique formations.

Glad you decided not to take the GatorBait ID . But yeah, I agree about what you said about the spread option. So many aspects of this offense are making their way around college football that it would be a crime for them not to have all its bells and whistles in the game. I'm hoping for the ability to motion receivers into the backfield, a shovel-option play (I'm especially interested to see if/how they include this play - it would be a real shame if it wasn't in the game), and reverses out of the shotgun.

Have you been to any games at The Swamp lately? I can't wait for September...
