Yeah I got that. But at that time, LSU's title was still fresh, while people still thought Holliday Bowl loss when they thought of Texas.

The kid didn't pick UT. Holding a grudge about it is plain stupid.

No, but it was only a matter of time.

Why people hold a grudge because an 18 year old kid didn't pick their school is beyond me. But it usually indicates someone who's never really been around any of these kids or the game itself.
BK I have been around these kids for the last 16 years and they have gotten marginally worse with the almost eerie fame we give them coming out of high school. They have a false sense that people need them to be successful. They have an arrogance that if you don't choose me then you will be no good. I could care less what these guys do and they really have no impact until they actually step on campus and onto the field the first time.

You can knock Texas record all you want to...

Know your facts!

Yeah, and the hot Rhodes scholar that turned you down was "just a whore" anyway.

Didn't knock Texas's record. But remember until this last year, they really had the rep of not getting it done when it counted.

But I find holding a grudge against an 18 year old, because he didn't attend your school, sad. I've been in his place, not with the same hype obviously, and I have been on the coaching/recruiting side of it. It gets ugly and posts like the ones you made in this thread, make it worse.

As far as you caring less on where these guys go and what they do, from reading this thread, that's doesn't appear accurate at all.
