Re: Top 25 halfbacks

Slaton should be 2nd, and it's a good thing they got some love for muh boy Super Jamario or I was gonna be pissed.

BTW Marcus Thomas is gonna be an absolute BEAST this season. I expect UTEP to be top 25. (I'm not a UTEP fan incase you were wondering.

Re: Top 25 halfbacks

I wonder if Brandon Ore from Virginia Tech will be in the game? He was injured and decided not to enroll in spring classes so he could rehab at home. He is suppose to take summer classes and is projected as the starter at HB for the Hokies.

He's gonna be a beast on the game though, it's just his AWR is a little low.

Who are some of these people. Marcus Thomas, 149 791 5.3 5 td, and he is a top 25 back?
Well Antonio Pittman of the Buckeyes is not a top 25 back and his stats are better than Charles so welcome to my world. Check out Pittmans stats last year: 243 carries, 1331 yards, 7 TDs and here are Charles stats last year: 119 carries, 878 yards, 11 TDs.

The 25th guy is a 90 (which is a problem) so that doesn't mean Charles is gonna be that bad. Honestly do you think based on the fact he is a True Soph and the year he had last year he should be a 90? Now talent wise he is a top 25 back but not on production, yet.

If Jamal Charles deserves to be in the Top 25, Auburn's Brad Lester deserves to be in the Top 10. This isn't homerism as I knew Lester wouldn't crack the Top 25, but the #5 back (Kenny Irons) in NCAA 07 didn't even start until Lester was hurt in mid-October. Lester (who is probably the best back on AU's team) was shredding Arkansas until he pulled up limp. He didn't see another carry until the Georgia game when he ripped off a 30 yarder before injurying himself again.
