Re: Bust Factor and more recruiting wants
And also many schools offer full rides based on size, or the performance at a local camp rather then playing ability. I know USC does this for at least 2 or 3 people each year its like there projects. My friend was 6'5" 230 pound OL and started all 3 years on varsity and he was getting a couple of letters from some pac 10 schools, he went to the Nike camp at USC and the next week Carroll offered him a full ride. I think there should be the bust factor in the game but like someone said there should be a lower rated player turn out to be a badass. How many times have there been people who end up awesome that nobody knew about? If the system thats in place now were true Jerry Rice, TO, and many others would suck because they were no rated that high out of high school and ended up going to lower level schools.
