Yep, I quit inviting my friend over b/c he freakin' beat my Nintendo controller so hard during Track and Field. "I was like calm down, Brett, you're not gonna beat me no matter how hard you hit the freakin' controller." That game was one of my all-time favorites. I love it still. Every kid in my neighborhood was trying to beat my world records. I think I may have lost some of my fast twitch muscle fiber conditioning. I guess I'm gonna have to start training for NCAA 07.

People who go crazy like that will never be good at those games that require fast button pushing. The secret is to barely move your thumb/finger off of the pad and keep your movements to a bare minimum to push, let up, push, let up, etc. My roommate had to teach me that when I was like in my 20's as prior to that I had been like your friend, beating the controller to death. Now I can button push with the best of em and the controller is no worse for the wear.

As for the 4.0 40 yard dash and which OS'er will get it first, for all of our sakes that better not even be possible IMO.

I have a feeling I'll suck at the 40....I can rarely win a jump ball in choops mashing buttons so, I guess I'll have a lot of noseguards and centers

I've heard two different things now though about the 40. I've heard one way you have to do it is move the analogs up and down while alternating them as fast as you can and then the other way is repeatedly hitting the sprint button as fast as you can. Anyone know which one is right?

I believe the analog stick thing you're referring to is from Madden 07(360).

geeze did they film that on the PSP? I know the game will be fine when it comes out, but I've never seen such low quality from IGN before.
