Actually, I might fit the bill for both profiles.

My EB has it, but won't sell it!

Yep, both for sure.

Man i'm glad they're not selling the game. I was able to trade in a couple of dud EASports games today that I bought from last year and recieved $20 a piece on trade.

Ok just got off the phone with my local EB, and the manager told me it won't be released until the 18th........If they release it before the 18th EA will fine them $5,000 for every copy that is sold....So that seems final NCAA 2007 will be in stores July 18th!!!!! End of discussion!!!!!!!

Wal-Mart could sell it...they are powerful enough that they can do anything they want…EA will not even think about trying to fine them…and they still have to be caught doing it…someone has sold it early the last two years at least...I got it early the last two years, so I can’t say for sure about the years earlier

You can get it but EB/Gamestop is the 1 place you likely won't have a sniff of a chance. Their guys only sell games so they know the penalty for selling early. The clerk at the Sam Goody, etc may not have a clue.

I don't think that there are any real legal grounds for a game company fining a retailer that broke a street date, but certainly it is in the best interest of the retailer to keep good vendor relations.

you're right but if they don't pay the fines EA sets then EA will not send them games anymore.
