That's Weird...

I just blocked a punt in NCAA '06, the first time I've ever blocked one in a game.

Makes sense...just before I stop playing the game...

EDIT: Crap, I thought I was in the game forum. Oops.

Good job, although I found it to be ridiculously easy to do in NCAA 2006. If the CPU was between their 45 to your 40 yard line they wouldn't audible to a max protect when you came out in a punt block formation until you blocked one. I would be good for one a game with FSU.

Seriously? I never tried to block punts at midfield and I can't remember if I have ever blocked a kick since Tecmo Bowl.

Methinks somebody used this cheat to help overcome potential defeats.

I almost always go after the punt, and if you had someone with 95+ speed off the end it was game over. The best is when I had a 6'6 CB with 98 speed. I would stay away from punt blocks because it was too easy with that kid. It also used to be super simple in NCAA on the PS1, coming off the edge on FGs was cake and with a decent MLB punt blocks were cake as well going up the middle. If you played OSU and Andy Katzenmoyer it was better to just go for the first down regardless of field position because he blocked everything in the game.

I only blocked one. It was because they were inside of their own 5 so it made it easy for my guys to get back to the punter.
