Teams with a canon

I played a game as UT, and they have a canon which explodes at touchdowns, this was present in last years edition of the game

After scoring 3 touchdowns the canon never went off, yet I saw it outside the endzone

Anyway to have it go off? Maybe a custom celebration? I always thought it was cool

Texas A&M's canon goes off after every score, also. It's a bummer if they leave this stuff out. For the Aggies, they ought to include graphics of the "make a score, fans kiss your girls" tradition.

I think it's funny watching cheerleaders man the cannon for A&M.

Funny thing is, Texas Tech doesn't use a cannon. Instead, a saddle tramp rings a bell (see youtube for video)

Tech does use a cannon at home games. Its in the Northeast corner of the Jones. I think it may be a recent addition. I know it's been there for at least 2 years.

Yeah but then they would be asked to include 50 other graphics of things Aggies have done twice that are now considered "tradition".

The ROTC has a cannon some years but recently it was the Saddle Tramps shooting a shotgun.
