Player Ratings & Randomly Generated Player Equipment

Two questions:

1) Can we edit player ratings like speed, agility, exc.?

2) Does the computer randomly generate player equipment for created players or do all the players get the same stuff (all WRs get gloves and wrist bands, exc.?

Try and find out what kind of equipment is assigned to what position or if it's just completely random.

That will definitely be my aim when I get the game tonight. I wanted to ask this question in the impressions thread but I felt like no one with the game early would want to take the time to find out for me.

I've noticed A LOT of quarterbacks with visors which makes me think that the game might randomly generate equipment. However, I was told that some of the quarterbacks with visors (in screenshots) really wear them in real life so maybe it won't be random.

I think it's only random for created players, but you can't EDIT equipment for either created or pre-existing players.
