Strategy Guide

Going tonite to get the game (midnight pickup - I'm 36 years-old going on 12). They also said the strategy guide would be available for a discount.

Usually these guides are garbage (everything you see on the screen in book form, not much else.) But with the manual being so small (i.e. lacking), maybe the new guide will offer more. Anyone seen a new guide?

I wish there was a FIFA World Cup guide (it's a great game, but I'd love some tips to get better).

I've seen it and it's very detailed!! Definitely worth it IMO. I heard u can get it free at CC with your purchase, and 20% off at Gamestop tonight.

I have mine already. Got it this afternoon so i would not miss getting one tonight. Its pretty indepth as far as ranking of the individual teams goes..both IA and IAA rankings. Only about 4 pages for the 360 though.

the extensive breakdown of the offensive and defensive plays....plus all the names of the 81 new plays added to the game in a nice list was very good.

though I must add, i normally buy this to read the BS dynasty report they do in the book. this years was really pretty weak, with all of the emphasis being on recruiting (which I understand why, its a strategy guide) but it was always written decently enough to be a good (though not BDAWG) dynasty

really not worth the 18 but its free if you buy the game at circuit city

I've always in year's past gotten strat guides for NCAA and Madden and always have looked at them maybe once or twice, I'm saving money this year, they don't give you any edge that you can't get here on the forums from other players.
