Anyone know if Walmart price-matches this game?

I just went to Walmart, and they didn't match it. They said they wouldn't match the rebate price.

EDIT: I went to a difif Walmart and they did end up matching it.

circuit city has it at $39.99 but releasing on the 21st.

i contacted the circuit city in columbia,sc and was told they would be selling it on tuesday...not the 21st.

47.99 is their online price. if you print it out, you might get lucky and get it price matched at a wal-mart.

I would check with your local Circuit City. I saw the ad that said the game would be available on 7/21 for $39.99 but when I went to pre-order yesterday (7/17), they said that I couldn't pre-order anymore because they don't allow pre-orders the day before a game is released.

The strategy guide does come with it (I think only on an in-store purchase though) and I think there's also a $5 credit towards Madden 07.

All the above is for the current-gen version (Xbox).
