How do you tell run from pass plays (360)?

Ok, this is prob a dumb question. I am trying the EA football franchises again after being a long time 2K fan. In the 2K playbook the titles of the running, passing and special plays would be differnt colors so you could tell them apart quickly. Is there a way to do this in NCAA if you are calling plays by formation?

There are some plays called WR Option which show one reciever having an orange path that can break off in different directions...how do I know what direction he is going to take?

Any extra control tips would be appriciated. I was hoping someone would sticky a topic to break down all the 360 controls as the manual is pretty pathetic and the guide doesn't really get into details for the 360 controls.

You don't. That's the whole point of WR options to have the WR read the coverage and choose the appropriate route to get himself open.

Alot of times you can guess the route by just reading whether its zone, cover 2 or man to man.
