If you call a play in ace spread, then audible to ace slot, one of the WRs would have to move over to HB

I don't see why this is cheap, and I was wondering the same thing. Derrick Williams plays all over the field for Penn State. Just like the year before, Michael Robinson was QB/WR/HB. I would kill to be able to run the option in this game with D Will back there, because PSU WILL do this over and over again this year.

It's not cheap in my book. There should be special packages for cases such as this on a team by team basis. Penn State uses his talents in a variety of ways.

I can't imagine why anyone would think this is cheap. It's been a part of college football for as long as I can remember. I remember Tim Brown, Ricky Waters & The Rocket playing WR & RB for ND in the 80s/90s. And I'm sure it was going on long before then.

Its not cheap in real football terms. Its cheap as it pertains to how it is abused online.

Actual one of (OKstate or UNC) has a QB WR option, actually, I think it's the OKstate one. The UNC has a HB to WR option Pretty cool but not as cool as the HB to WR option pass it has)
