Holy Crap! - 15 min qtrs - Realistic # of plays!

Wow! I just now realized that you can play a full 15 min qtr game against
the cpu and have a realistic number of plays. Big props to EA for finally giving
this to us!

All you have to do is allow the "walk up to the line" scene to play through its entirety
every time the CPU has the ball and they will snap it with less than
5 seconds on the clock. If you also snap the ball with less than 5 seconds
you can have a realistic number of plays during a full 60 min game.

Now this may be my imagination but I think the game plays totally different when
using 15 min quarters. One would think the score would be insane but at half
time I was leading 9 to 3. Anyone interested in playing a full 60 min game has GOT to
try this now.

I know most people would rather play shorter games but I usually plan my
"game time" so a good long realistic game is great for me.
So glad EA finally gave this to us, it was impossible last year because the
CPU would always snap the ball early.

This game is long enough on 5 minute quarters...I can barely get a game in half the time (last year got to year 2 of my Dynasty before never getting back to it).

This series is in desperate need of a midgame save feature...

Most games border on an hour long as is!

Tried it, score was 65 (me)-7(cpu) before the half. I was texas tech, cpu was the gaters. on HOF...staying with 5 min..and besides 15 min quarters is to long. Video game football is meant to be played on 5 min , just like basketball is meant to be played on 8min or so.

I've been playing 10 minute quarters and I find I'm having a realistic number of plays - based on last years averages. I've only played 5 or 6 games so far, but I've noticed that in good old EA fashion, my games going into the 4th quarter 7-3 have to end 28-24, as teams just exchange touchdowns until the game ends.

This game gives u no accurate stats on 5 mins. I use 8 min qtrs and skip the cutscenes when the clock is ticking

Yea I have always used 8mins and snapped early to get
the NCAA average # of plays. But I hated not being able to manage the clock, since clock management is football 101.
Guess I'm just a nerdy sim head but its nice to have the option of playing a
full 60 min game without having a ridiculous number of plays.

To the guy who was up 60 something to 7, I don't think qtr length is your issue, its difficulty level. Bump it up to the next level....And if your already
on Heisman, remind to never play you online

EA needs to put accelerated clock into NCAA, I love it on Madden.

I've always played with 15 min quarters in every single NCAA game I've played.
