Any news on this? This game went from must-have to no-way in the blink of an eye. If they patch this effectively (and halfway quickly), it'll be a must-have for me again.

Yup, I definitely wanted this game prior to release. Initial reviews were positive from the mags and gamers... then the glitch was discovered, which changed my whole perspective. You said it all, "Must have to No Way." However, if this problem is fixed, I will be picking up this game for sure.
