I know that this question has been asked a few times now, but still no answer....do we have to pay or not....can anyone give us a breakdown? Thanks in advance.

You will have to pay, otherwise they would have been included in the game.

Since, you know for sure that we have to pay for them, how much? Do we pay a flat rate for all of the alternates, what alternates are available, when will they be available?

No one even knows for sure if you got to pay but logic tells us we will. The speculation is they'll see all the alternates for a set price, like $8 to $10 or by conference for like $2 each or by team for like a quarter each, something like that. But truly no one knows at this point anything.

What if they do a 180 and offer the alternate uniforms for free... would be interesting to see if people would fall over themselves praising EA/Tiburon for their generousity. And if they did go that route, that'd convince me that they're using us to conduct some huge social experiment

Honestly I would be upset if they charged a fee. You are already paying 60 dollars for the 360 version on top of the price for xbox live, small items such as alternate uniforms which are hardly used should be completely free

This is one place where I really prefer computer's for games since you can download things for free, and the only time that things cost money is for expansion packs which usually add a significant amount to a game

I'm not paying anything for live. THem having Silver and Gold accounts for Live was a great thing. I can still buy Xbox Live Arcade games as well as download demos and videos with the free Silver account and if I wanted to play other people online I could pay for the Gold.
