I must be doing someting wrong b/c I had the same problem last year, but for some reason my MLB lines up 1 yard off the LOS 90% of the time and my FS lines up in the box with the LB's about 50% of the time.

I've found that if I switch my play back and forth I can usually get them to line up right, but it is annoying to do that every play. Does anybody else have this problem?

Yeah, I have seen this problem, but only when running the 4-2-5 defense

I hate that mess. They always do it on 3rd and short too. I hate it more than alot of other things in the game. 90% of run defense is alignment, the rest is execution. We can't even get these guys aligned right on third and short. Before the ball is snapped they are already blocked and out of the play by lining up like this. It was in Madden 360 last year too. It's an annoyance. You shift them and they just move other players out of position. I hate it. I hate it, I hate it.

It's with every defense. Especially on 3rd and short.

I totally agree. I tried to **** my LB's to the left and the MLB ended up pushing the DL offsides. I know if you change yoru coverage audiable and push to teh right they all show the blitz but this is jsut every play. Take it out next year EA please. Let me control when they are on the line of scrimmage.

My LBs show blitz on occasion. I never noticed my safties in the box though. I wish I could get them to line-up there on occasion. I hope individual audibles make it back next year.

Sometimes, on safety blitzes, my safties don't approach the LOS, which pisses me off.

That is odd, because I can't remember my players doing this. If anything, i'd like my LB's and safeties to crowd the LOS a bit more... I'm going to look for this when I play tonight.
