any word on the psp bug update. i've got the game but never opened it until i heard something on a fix. i've got 30 days to return it...

Nothing official has been stated, but I would bet you'll need to return your game because the patch won't be out before your 30 days are up. I have heard speculation that it may be a couple of months. Just specualtion, but EA isn't doing anything to dispell that. Since they acknowledged the bug and said they'd fix it, we've heard nothing about any progress.

I would just return it for now. Wait til it's fixed then buy a new one. They haven't said anything but to acknowledge the problem, so it could be a while still.

I returned mine and just put the money toward Madden.

I haven't played it, but it makes the game into two hand touch football. Once the runner is hit (even if he breaks the tackle or falls foward) the ball is spotted down there, reguardless of what happens the rest of the play.

it's not when he's hit, there has to be considerable contact from my experience. still sucks but not as horrible as you'd think. many times when i'm playing i'll say 'ok let's see how much they screw me here, only to find out that they mark the ball where the guy went down". but it does happen

IMO the lefty power bug in MVP 2004 was much worse
