Recruits that look good on paper....but

Does anyone else have this issue?

I'm in my 2nd year of my Illini dynasty. I went 6-6 last year with one upset win over #13 ranked Michigan State. My recruiting class wasn't all that great so I'm thin on defense. However Zook hooked me up (or so I thought) with a great recruit as QB-Kisan Flakes. However, this year I'm like 2-7 with losses to Mizzou, Baylor(I know how in world did that happen), 1-8 Indiana, and my current 4-game losing streak, Kent State, #24 Minnesota, Michigan and #7 Penn State.

Well to get to the meat of the problem, Flakes has a big problem of throwing interceptions in the red zone. My senior qb last year didn't have this problem, our defense just seemed to get mangled last year. But this year my defense holds pretty well and we can move the ball, but Flakes pisses me off so badly with bad throws to WIDE OPEN recievers AND ONLY IN THE RED ZONE. And what's even more embarrassing is that I can bet 10 of the 16 went all the way back the other way and Flakes with his 85 speed always catches them.....but gets run right through by any anonymous linebacker for the score.

Flakes Statline: 116/228, 1585 11 TD and 16 INTS through 9 games.

Well just my rant and seeing if anyone else who has that 85+ qb that can't throw in the clutch?

it is due to his low composure ratings. when in the RZ, players with low composure tend to make more mistakes

Umm... Kisan isn't even on the team anymore. Are you thinking of Isiah Williams? Flakes was a two star Turner recruit.

if he used an early set of rosters, its probably still Flakes. i waited until the OS roster guys made their first corrections, one of which was adding Williams to the Illini roster.
