If I am not mistaken, the xbox version of NCAA is a port over from the ps2 version. Does anyone know if the ps3 version will be a port of the 360 version or will it be a completely different game?

I seem to remember people discussing that EA has seperate teams working on the two systems.

Also, the PS3's architecture doesn't lend itself to 'porting' very well.

We are talking about NCAA 08, right? It's my understanding that EA has no plans to release a PS3 version of NCAA this year.

Exactly. The current gen Xbox version of NCAA is just a port of the decrepit PS2. No way in hell will the cheap a**wipes at EA spend development $$$ on two separate consoles.

even if they do have two teams working for it, it's probably just using the code made for one console and making sure it ports okay. No way EA builds two games from the ground up for two different next gen systems, as they really don't need to...you know, the whole no competition thing.
