Recruiting too easy?

Has anyone that has been through a few recruiting iterations come to the conclusion that it is far too easy?

After my first season as Texas Tech in which I went 7-6 including an Alamo Bowl loss to Michigan State I managed to get the #1 recruiting class in the nation with five 5-stars, seven 4-stars, six 3-stars, four 2-stars, and one 1-star. This was with only 1 in-season commit from a 3-star Strong Safety.

I know TTU has grown in popularity that last several years but they are A LONG WAY from ever getting the #1 recruiting class. To my knowledge they have scored a couple top 20 classes in the last few years.

Has anyone else seen this? Is there any way to make recruiting harder besides just not going after top recruits or choosing less budget for recruiting?

actually.. im playin on 360 and im having the opposite...
i won the nc tow yrs in a row and never get the top class...
i got top 25 one yr and finally i brought in a top 5 class...
but i work for it lol

Probably the biggest improvement of the game on the 360 imo. Recruiting for me at least, has been a much bigger challenge.

Just got to the offseason recruiting for 360. won the NC with ucf and have 3 pipelines. any tips on which players to target? when to target? and when to cut my targets loose and stop persuing them?

yeh i like having to really work hard at bringing recruits in...
on the xbox version last yr i had top class every off season...
but sometimes i do expect to get atleast 3-5 5* recruits just off of my nc win.. but thats never the case...

i usually end up losing my biggest recruits to texas, wvu and the miami 3....
no other team down south gives me competition but them...

For some reason or another, all Illinois recruits want to go to Louisville.
