What are some plays you guys like to use?

Sounds like Alabama in real life

I love screens and this is a good situation to run them for me anyway.

Re: My redzone scoring ability sucks.

Look for PA plays to your TE, for example PA TE Corner if you're at the 20. Also look for PA passes where you can chuck it to your FB, they are usually WIDE open down the sideline, and should be able to go the 15 or 20 yards as long as they have decent speed. Draws are decent, and HB stretch is probly my favorite to run in the redzone.

Wide Receiver screens, quick slants also work pretty well.

Basically, in the red zone, use your FBs, TEs, they can be great weapons down there. I seem to throw most of my picks when trying to force the ball to my wideout in the redzone because I lose my creativity running my offense.

My team can't run the option.

Not built to do so.

Re: My redzone scoring ability sucks.

well mine is...so I do..

but I don't see anything new to suggest here as I usually look for TE's, and send WR on curl routes. I also noticed how the defense loves to blitz when you're at the goal line, so a nice quick lob pass to a WR cutting for the sideline works.

If you have tall guys, just toss it up and let them jump for it.

Re: My redzone scoring ability sucks.

For what not to do - don't try post routes unless you KNOW they are blitzing and your WR will be in 1 on 1 coverage, don't force a curl route (I made that mistake for several seasons, almost always a pick 6), in routes are generally a no no.

Re: My redzone scoring ability sucks.

Not always, but online, I usaully get a lot of blitzes when I'm in the red zone either trying to get me out of fieldgoal range or a last desperation attempt at a turnover. WR quick screens kill, and so does PA fullback flat. I found that your FB will usually "truck over" at least one DB.
