Its a lot bigger issue for 5 and 6 star prestige teams. At ASU (5-star), with no recruiting restrictions I can usually end up with a Top 3 class. With a 6-star program like Ohio State or Notre Dame I am guaranteed the #1 class with 8-12 blue chips. And this is when I only recruit "interested players" who have discipline ratings of average or above.

I like your system. As for in season recruiting, If I am a 1-3 star program I only go after 3 star recruits. Once I get to 4 then I bump it up 1 and so on. Makes it more realistic to me.
