Weekly recap show ?

After playing college hoops 2k for the first time I was blown away by the pre season show and weekly recap show(not got to selection show yet). I heard about this, but I didn't think much of it figuring it would be a gimmicky feature and not be very good. But I find myself looking foward to watching it every week to see if I can make the show. If you don't know what it is shows games from the previous week and previews upcoming games. It also gives player of the week and some recuiting stuff.

Surely the people at EA played the game and willl add something like this to NCAA football. At the end of the year you could have the bowl selection show. They could also do some things with the heisman trophey. If done right it could be a very cool feature something the game has never seen. What do you think ?

Sure they could do it, just like they could get rid of Mario running, and they could make the front 7 of the defense and the OL, TE, and FB interact realistically. But they won't.

you're right, NFL2k5 used the ESPN license to have sportscenter recaps. EA won't do it though, as it doesn't really fit in with their horrible presentation.

I have to agree with soilder. There are a lot of things that EA could do with all the licensenes they have aquired but they most likely won't do that. But you never know. I remain pesemisticly(sp) optimistic.

I would venture to say you've been playing EA sports games for a long time. Haha.

EA sports used to work on the games, but they got too rich and like time off playing with the toys they have more than making the games the best possible.

I truly hope they install features like this, but I as well don't have much optimism. I feel like EA dumped me and every year I hope they will take me back. Hasn't happened, yet.

Yeah, I pretty much agree with everyone in this thread. I really enjoyed the halftime, post game and weekly shows in 2K5. At the time, I figured that all games would incoporate the feature in future versions....but not EA. It seems borderline arrogant. EA knows people like it, and they certainly have the abililty to do it, but they say "Nah, we don't need to do all that. We are focusing on Girlfriend mode".

I really enjoy NCAA, but the halftime is very weak if you are used to 2K5. No hilights, no recaps, no cutscenes. The 2nd qtr ends...Bam you're at the menu screen. Hit the button and bam, it is kick off time. Lame.

And as Georgia said, Choops does a great job. I still am playing 2K6 on the good ole XBOX. The selection sunday show is one of my favorite features ever in a video game. It goes on for a good 20 minutes and really adds a great immersion factor.

I would like to disagree with yall and say there is a chanc that something like this would be in the game. But deep down I know that it wont be there. Even if it is it probley wont be near as good as the 2khoops.

The sad thing about this is I wouldn't care if it was the EASN weekly recap (remember that? EASN?). Just put some sort of presentation in the damn game.

Seeing Corso put on a mascot head got old reaaaaaaaaaaaaal quick.
