Still saw the QB throwing a pretty hard pass off his back foot, which has plagued these games for a long time. If a guy is moving backward, he simply can't put that much zip on the ball.

Player models look a lot better than the roided freaks in 07. OL/DL interaction is better. I wish they ran to the inside on the videos and I hope we eventually see that because thats where the crux of this game is. I'm not as hyped for college football this year so I'll probably pass

Defensive hot routes are supposed to be "in the game" for Madden this year, hopefully NCAA will have them too. A "qb contain" option would go a long way towards dealing with this issue.

Maybe the folks you speak of don't care enough about a HS football mode to mention it. And maybe they want one of the major flaws in the game fixed and are disappointed to see it surface. It only takes a couple of plays to see certain things. How many pass plays do you need to see before you'd say the DEs still don't contain?

Granted it's probably on Varsity, but we can only judge what we see. We can't assume it's harder for QBs to break the pocket on higher levels when that's never been the case in the past.

Well, that, and I don't give a damn about a High School game! What the heck is the point if the gameplay isn't there!? Are you telling me more modes is more important to a game than gameplay??

Is it all gameplay videos or do they show any presentation videos in this group.

I want good gameplay but one thing that has been missing for me is the atmosphere. I feel like I'm at a college or pro game with the 2k7 series in basketball. I want team entrances, players moving on the sideline or running with the player down the sideline, players moving on and off the field, chain gangs, cheerleaders at opposite corners.

I know people will say 'Hey, basketball only has 7 or 8 bench players! or Who cares about cheerleaders' but it can't be that hard to have players sitting on benches and some standing up on the sideline and then have them break into a positive or negative scene as the play is unfolding.

Sorry just my little rant. Just frustrated that the first day of videos and we are trying to find gang tackles with a microscope and already hoping for next year.

Throughout all these vids, the defenders are too hesitant in their attempts to tackle. If one defender is tackling someone, the other sort of stands there watching. You'll especially notice this in the High School game with number 4 on the blue team.

The game seems stripped down in the presentation dept. The sidelines look horrid.

The best thing about these vids is the improved framerate, but there is still some stuttering going on after plays.
