They have also done a poll letting us vote on what options we want in the game: medical redshirt, in game saves, summer workouts or lead blocker. They promised the winning result would be in the game and I'm betting we get all of them. Defensive smart zones are now in the game as you can tell defenders to adjust their zones according to the first down marker which may really help reduce some of the scoring.

On top of that, I think they will continue to finetune the game as they did from '06 to '07. If only they will fix jump the snap (or let us turn it off) and fix the horrible kicking game I will be much happier. Reducing fumbles and tweaking momentum would also help.
Hey, Rudy. I just got word that they will be releasing the game on NES as well.

I'm betting you're right. I forgot about that poll, but you're probably right about getting all four of those added to the game. If not, though, I'll be happy with in-game saves. If they add in-game saves, fine-tune the gameplay (fumbles and kicking game mostly), and allow JTS, Momentum, and other things like that to be toggled On/Off (or at least toned down), I'll be happy.

Maybe pricing it at $40 for old-gen wouldn't hurt either...? Wait, what am I saying, this is EA.
