What makes this game great?

To me, solidify the single player experience, THEN deal with online. I'm perfectly happy if they have an excellent offline Dynasty Mode, which is what I think they're concentrating on.

Too many cheesy, immature idiots online. Not saying online issues aren't important, just not as important as single player.

Co-Sign. I understand peoples disappointment but I for 1 have never had the names on any NCAA game. Isn't a big deal to me, I guess it is to others tho.

I couldn't imagine NOT playing without the names. Roster devices are great. I don't play online so that thing doesn't bug me though. I can definately see FK's point though.

I agree, I only play Dynasty so it doesn't affect me... but if they took the names option out of the game, I'd be just as angry. After four years of NCAA with names I can't imagine returning to the NCAA 03 "QB #15" days.

I guess because I'm not a serious college football fan. I watch the games when they're on(whomsoever on I don't care I'm just a football fan)but not enough to recognize and identify every player.

actually it's the reverse for a lot of people, they want the names because they don't watch all the college teams (not that they're not big fans, just that there are only so many hours in the day and not all teams are on tv).

i know that is a big part of what i like the names for, so that when I play as a team I don't watch on tv very much, if at all, like say Miami of Ohio, then I can know who is who and sometimes I recognize players from hearing about them and can associate them to who they are in real life.

It's not a stretch at at all for online players. Oh and it's more than just names on the jersey, it's also the commentary, which is half of what the equation is for a videogame, ie sound/graphics.

As long as gameplay looks good, which the way I have heard so far, it is and the stadiums are correct and great looking I am good to go on the game. And they have all the stadiums I usually play in so so far this game is great to me. Like I said, I haven't been this excited for the Ncaa game since the 2004 game came out.
