Not necessarily. If you got a QB and only #94 was left, just look 1-20 for a RB with that number and move him to the 20's or 30's. Find a FB with that number and move them to the 40's. Find an LB with that number and move them into the 50's. Find a lineman with that number and move them to #94.

Sure it would take too much time but I'm guessing it'd pretty much work out. There are much bigger problems to worry about.

I was talking under the condition of expanded rosters and having 100 players. After recruiting, all new freshman are assigned numbers, correct? If you have the full 100 players you would not have any open numbers and could therefore not switch numbers.

And its a small thing certainly, but wouldn't you agree it would make our lives that much easier?

/if its in the game...

Re: Same Jersey Number

It has definately been in the game in years past(last gen). Antonio Perkins for Oklahoma was #28 as was Adrian Peterson. The game allowed both players to have the same number. However when editing players numbers and recruits blah blah blah.... you can't do it. I have thought about this issue before but didn't wan't to bring it up either, as mentioned above. There is MORE than enough whining, bitching, and complaining going on in the NCAA forum to add another log on the fire. Plus it's a minor thing.

You've never been able to do it yourself. It was just on the default rosters. If you changed a number you couldnt change it back to the same one if another player was wearing it.
