I can't believe the NCAA got to them or the current gen names online would have also been eliminated. It's laziness is all I can figure.

This is pure laziness on the part of EA Sports.

Last year we were given this bogus explanation detailing why the online rosters were no permitted:

The problem was that the 360 version is reportedly sending e-mail stats and the individual player names are appearing within the stats. But here is the trade-off.... We may have named players online but there will be no email statistics.

Of course, there was never an e-mail that sent individual statistics. But this was EA's initial response and they never resolved to fixing the problem.

I can't wait to hear the reason why we can't use names online this year especially when the current gen will continue to have "real" rosters online. Of course, we won't hear a response from EA Sports if this is true. Please tell me why 2K Sports can continue to have "real" rosters for their College Hoops game but EA continues to ignore the next gen gamers.

Last year I was disappointed. This year I am a few stages past disappointed. This is pure laziness. That is all that I can say. There is no reason why names should not appear in next gen games online. NONE. The game is not shipped with the names.

get over it, geez...its the exact same players every time you play the game online, so who cares? use your imagination...it doesn't take away from the game THAT much, and has nothing to do with gameplay at all. And after 10 games anyway who is listening to the commentary? Learn the players names by yourself if its such a problem for you.

some people acting like its some big bug or something, calm down. its a college game there are no names to begin with we are lucky we can edit at all, names online would be a bonus not something to be pissed off about
