Offensive Linemen eligible to be an Impact Player?

I caught wind of a rumor: Virginia Tech has an impact player on the offensive line. Is this true? Duane Brown by the way. I think he is #76, but not positive. If so, it's the first year that they've made O-line eligble for "IP" right? I think it's a good feature if it is true. Joe Thomas should've been an IP last year for Wisconsin.

I like the idea of an OL being an impact player, i.e. Joe Thomas, DeBrickashaw, etc. They definitely have a huge impact on the game and with the way blocking has been redesigned I see no reason why they shouldn't be, especially if DLs are. However, Duane shouldn't be an impact player for the Hokies. If he is, EA's roster makers are on something. Ore, Adibi, and Hall/Flowers should be our IPs.

well if you watch the chiefs vs packers gameplay video, the left guard for the chiefs has a weapons thing under him, and if ncaa is taking the weapons deal from madden then yes

edit: that is if the impact thing is the same as the weapons

I walked by him going to class a few times, hes pretty much enormous. He was wearing a hoody, with the hood chewed off. Its like he got in a fight with a pitbull. That poor pitbull.

Sorry, I was meaning some guys who should be impact players. I can't imagine they're to the point of making OL impact players, though it would be amazing.
