Started playing '99 when I rented it a few times, but then really got into it in 2002 after seeing some of the early previews, and I remember following the all the pre-release info here on OS, and remember being blown away by the first vids and screens. Once I got my PS2 and NCAA 2002 that was it for me it exceeded everything I had hoped for, the presentation was just unbelievable and the attention to detail. Ever since then I have enjoyed the game far more than Madden, and I would probably say it has been my most played game series over the past six years. I will never forget that first dynasty season with UCLA, blowing through the Pac-10 and then getting stunned in the Rose Bowl getting beaten 64-13 by Miami.

I got NCAA Football 2002 for the PS2 and have gotten every installment since along with madden since 2000.

One of my favorite moments with NCAA was taking Illinois to the National Championship game in a tournament. I did it to amuse a friend who went to Illinois and was friends with Kurt Kittner. I had some epic battles in the tournament against Arizona and a rematch with Michigan. Damn I wish they still had this today. It'd be so much better playing one bowl game.
