Keep in mind this is a demo. Most demos I'vs played have little graphical hickups like this.

Re: Official Demo Impressions

Well fellas, it's time to give credit where credit is due...

EXCELLENT job EA; this is like an entirely new game.

The smoothness of 60 fps is hard to even explain, you just have to play it. The animations look beautiful, as do the rest of the graphics in the game.

A few improvements I've seen after one game:

Throwing the ball looks AND feels muuuuuuch better.
- if you let the cpu handle the dropback, that also feels very good as well, even get the nice little hop step at the end.

No mario running.

The cpu missed a field goal.

Gang tackling, and really their whole tackling/animation system, puts a completely new feel and strategy into the game.

Cut scenes are nice; players show some good emotion/interaction (no more robots!).

My mind keeps going back to the 60 fps and how smooth the game feels. Again, you just have to play it! A lot of sites mentioned how it had a last gen feel finally, as far as control goes... well this far surpasses last gen in my opinion.

I could go on all day here. This demo alone is leaps and bounds better than last years product. I can't WAIT for next week

Re: Official Demo Impressions

I wish the demo was on All-American or something because it is starting to get boring pounding the opposing team 17-0, 13-0, ect. I love the game though!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Official Demo Impressions

I, too, am getting the jerkiness between plays/after picking my plays. Other than that, the game is silky smooth.

I really don't like the playbook style though. Last year's was much better.

Hopefully the jerkiness isn't there in the retail version.

Re: Official Demo Impressions

I just played the demo against my bro. Final Score 3-10, I won of course. Plus I had a 99yd Int. return for a TD. I even broke off the QB my bro was controlling. Seeing my brothers face after that play priceless.

Ahhh, will power.
This is one reason I'm glad I don't have XBL.

Yes, and by no means does it blend into the actual gameplay. It's rather subtle. I would say it's very much like the transitions in MLB 2K7; however, that's not to say the complete framerate is similiar to MLB 2K7.
