Is it true? No 1AA again?

I know this has been speculated about for forever, but can anyone confirm that there are no 1AA schools in the next gen versions of this game? I graduated from App State, the back to back, defending 1AA champ, and if I can't play as them, I'll settle for playing an upscaled PS2 version on my PS3. Thanks!

They aren't in the 360 version. You just play against generic teams named FCS East, etc.

Thanks for responding. Man, how does that make sense to EA? They have the exclusive rights to all of NCAA football, and they feel people on "next (which is actually current) gen" systems don't need all the features. I know many people don't care about 1AA, but it's upsetting to have your school win back to back championships and get completely ignored on 360/PS3. Lame EA...just lame.

I don't mind waiting an extra year or two for D1AA teams, just as long as we can use them in season mode when they do come....or at least allow us to set up a tournament with the D1AA teams.

Seriously, I would love to have "D-1AA" teams so I could use UMass.

Not having D1-AA does suck. There are some very good football teams in 1-AA and they actually play for their national championship. C'mon EA this is supposed to be next gen.
