Re: 4 Minute Quarters?

No way. Ive experimented with this alot and the most realistic is at 8 minutes....period. I tried playing everything from 15 minute and letting the play clock run below :10 everytime. I found that the CPU picks plays fast and snaps the ball at :18 - :22 EVERY play. The correct number of total offensive plays according to NCAA stats last year is anywhere from 60-70 plays per team on average. 8 minute quarters gives you that when you take time to select a good play, let the play clock get down, and I watch cut scenes after the play so I dont miss injuries. I usually get 65-75 plays in. Depending on how you play 7 or 9 may be better.

I'm with you Aggies. I'm just waiting for the transfer kit to be delivered and I'm looking at 7-8 minute quarters.

4 minutes is for Legend mode only. 7-8 for dynasty.

Re: 4 Minute Quarters?

Yeah, I had it set on 7 mins in CL, but after going through some games with Hawaii and Michigan......it was getting out of hand. I understand its college football, but when you start averaging 60 points a game, that's a bit much. We played some no-name school with Hawaii, and the final score was 98-10.

I dropped it to 5 mins now, and its a lot better. 4 mins is probably perfect, but I'll see how 5 mins last.
