Question for those of you that have played Hawaii

Hey guys,
Last night I was playing a quick game vs Hawaii,but for some reason they didn't have Colt starting it was their 2nd string qb Graunky (sp lol).
After looking at their depth chart...Colt IS suppose to be the starter, but the funny thing is their 2nd stringer is an impact player and rated an 80 (iirc).

During drives they would sub Colt in (mainly for qb runs and the occasional pass) but it was mainly their 2nd stringer.

I'm not familiar with Hawaii ....so my question is..is this normal for them? to continually switch qb's? and why would their 2nd stringer be an impact player and not Brennan? when Brennan is rated higher.

It was an error by EA but I think the error is fixed with FK's rosters.

No. I don't think he fixed it. I've used his rosters and DTs and neither have been able to remedy this problem. Brennan has been subbed out before the first play in every game I have played vs. Hawaii. As soon as I see it happen (right away), I get ticked and decide not to play the game.

It appears to be a glitch in the depth chart or something because the depth chart still has Brennan as QB1 and Graunke plays on the field and all of the sudden becomes an IP. Ridiculous.

Really? In my game, Brennan is listed as an impact player and the backup isn't.

EDIT: Thought it was fixed, but you're right. At least in dynasty, Brennan starts and puts up his ridiculous numbers. You can view it as Colt getting sick before a game, if he doesn't start against you.

Even though it's not a perfect fix because everyone still wants the 2nd string QB in his 2nd string spot, I got Brennan to stay in an entire game by making their 2nd string QB the 3rd string QB and vice versa.

Brennan got hurt during the game though and that meant the 3rd string QB was the QB.

Good idea. I may have to do that. I still can't believe EA got this wrong.

Out of curiosity....how come?
I'm guessing that you would have to rearrange the attributes? for the 3rd stringer to become the 2nd stringer?

It's frustrating to see Graunke as the impact player,when it SHOULD be Brennan.
