Difficulty changes by itself!?!

Okay, this is weird, I play on AA. I know everything is saved properly before I start my games. I check on the main screen, and during the dynasty before I start evey game.

I play as Virginia, and I will be crushing a team, and I think to myself WTF? So I check my sliders, they are the same as I set them (I turn CPU RB ABIL to 75, and HUM DEF AWR to 25). Then I check the general gameplay settings (during game) and it says VARSITY!!

This is in dynasty mode and has happened twice. I can't figure out what I am doing to trigger that change. Now I am constantly checking the settings during a game like Rainman.

This doesnt happen every game, I have lost to UNC and Mid Tenn, it's random as far as I can tell.

This happened to me as well. I was wondering why at times Michigan played like a 4 year old then when super simmed seemed like god. Thank god I fixed it back up to Heisman the next game, though I lost in the title game.

I'm pretty sure game settings like quarter length and difficulty are saved with your profile, so if you changed it while in Dynasty mode, just saving your Dynasty won't do the trick, it'll revert back to whatever your profile has when you start the game up.

That might be what's happening. Otherwise, I've never seen this.

I always 'save all' after every game, and before doing so, I check the settings. Could be a bug.

it's not just me. I've seen this happen too and I do "SAVE ALL" after I'm done playing a dynasty game.

lol...mine only happens when my lil brother gets in there and jacks shyt up....but i do like the rainman comment....the first 3 games after he did that i was checkin every qtr to make sure

It's happen to me too, was wondering why I beat texas with rice. Also my controls switch to back to the normal setting then throughout the game will switch back to the settings i use to have.
