My RB fumbles like crazy (had 4 in one game at one time). I use the "cover the ball" button when I hit traffic, but it doesn't always seem to help. Maybe I am not hitting it early enough. Also, can you combine other moves with the "cover the ball" button (i.e. jukes, spins). What about a stiff arm? I know that uses one hand, so that probably increases the chance of a fumble. My team has two backs (MSU) a speed back with CAR of around 82 and a power back with a CAR of around 88. The 82 fumbles non-stop, but the 88 hardly does (maybe one all season). Any help is appreciated!

Lowering the tackle slider should reduce fumbles.

Increasing running back ability will help as well. I've had RBA at 60 and kept tackle at 50 and don't see many fumbles but I'm constantly covering up on the ball.

I've found that the sprint button is every bit as effective as covering up, maybe more so. Might be a coincidence, but that's been my experience.

RBA is the big one. Its effect all the running backs abilities.
