HS name doesn't appear, no more Campus Legend?

Out of the blue, I seem to have lost CL mode entirely. I can create a recruit, but no matter what I do, when the tournament bracket comes up, there's a blank spot where my high school name should be. If I go into the first round anyway, my player doesn't exist and/or never touches the ball, then when the simulation ends, the game freezes entirely.

Has anyone else run into this, if so, is there a known fix or work-around? I've done several searches for related threads here, and on Google as well, came up empty both places. Tried the official website, but their community area is down (go figure).

Mostly I just want to work up a new kid to bring him into Madden Superstar mode.

On a side note, I'm so tired of the NCAA franchise being EA's red headed step child. So many of the problems in this year's versions should have been caught in the FIRST round of QA, and never made gold. I know Madden sells more copies, but last time I checked, they're both 59.95 off the shelf, and it's obvious even after a few hours that Madden is far more polished upon release than NCAA was. Anyway, end little rant. Just annoyed.

I had the same problem, only the game froze when it was over.

Before you load the game up, move your rosters off your HD to a memory card.

Wow that sucks, I don't have a memory card. Seriously, does EA ever bother to beta test or do we pay $60 for the privilege.

So you don't have downloaded rosters? Or you just edited your own?

Because I had this happen to me too. I just moved the downloaded rosters off the hard drive and CL worked again.
