Again, you obviously have some "inside" information that EA is going to all-of-a-sudden up and change their stance for no apparent reason.

For future reference, I'm the content and community manager for all of the EA SPORTS titles developed at Tiburon. I did stop by and confirm that the patch was live, but neglected to identify myself so there was some question as to the validity of the information. Generally I just pass that information on to community leaders (Utopia Football, Pastapadre, etc.), but I happened to see a thread about the patch and decided to drop in.

A month or two back I did pass on that downloadable alternates would not be available this year. That's a definite at this point.

If there is any uncertainty in the future about anything relating to any of the Tiburon titles, feel free to shoot me a PM and I'll drop by and try and clear things up. I read the boards regularly, so I'm not hard to find.

Legit question here. I'm done fighting about it, you've piqued my interest and I'm sincerely inquiring because I want to know.

Your first post in this thread said, and I'm paraphrasing:

EA is clueless, they're out of touch with the fans, but the fans keep buying the game because they've accepted mediocrity.

You seem to now be coming full circle, saying that things are going to change, perhaps as early as next year.

I want nothing more than to admit you're right, because that's a win for all of us. But what reason should we have to believe that all of the sudden NCAA 2009 for the next-gen consoles will be a truly FULL game and not the shell we have right now?
