Question from someone who's never downloaded a patch: Do I start up the game and then connect to X-Box Live to get the patch, or does the disc even need to be in the 360?

Start the game while connected to Live and you'll be prompted to DL it.

Last time I played the game I shut it off after a few minutes. This time, I just played the best game I ever played in NCAA. It was a joy to run the spread offense.

Man, I'm going to go fire up NCAA and give this update a whirl. Sounds like it really did a lot to improve gameplay.

Any indication that the patch helped improve the CPU's ability to stop the option? The only way I've been able to get the CPU to slow it down is by raising awareness to near 100, which really makes passing the ball difficult.

This has been a busy couple of weeks for patches. First Madden, now NCAA, and NBA2k8's should be coming out any day now.

so i know i should just get xbox live anyways, but is there any way to get the patch without being hooked up to xbox live? i have an xsata, will that help?
