Does this exist in the game? I vaguely remember hearing that it might be? If it does exist, how do I do it? I just had my stud freshman corner (already the 5th-best player on my team) get injured in the 2nd game of the season and would like to medical redshirt him if possible. TIA!

It does for the PS2 and old Xbox version not sure about the PS3/360 versions so far i haven't seen the option though.

PS2 it exists.
when you look at injuries menu, hit X and it will prompt you to apply for a medical redshirt. If you do, and it is possible it will redshirt him, if it is not possible, then it will say something like redshirt not possible.
