Is it time yet?

Is it getting closer to the time when we hear some new information about NCAA 09?

If I remember right, wasn't the cover guy and some new details released a week or so after the pro bowl?

Just curious if anyone knows how long we'll be waiting yet until we get some kind of information.

I think it starts around the time of the draft. EA can announce the cover boy and start working up the football frenzy. It seems that info starts to come out when E3 starts as well. Preview and screenshots, etc....

Ah, good answers.

I wasn't exactly sure how long it was after the last football game was played.

Re: Is it time yet?

What's sad is that I have bought every version of this game for the last 7 years the day it came out. This year unless there are some major fixes and it gets a good review in these forums I'm passing.

This is by far my favorite series of all time and I played a lot again in '08...but over time it just grew too frustrating when there are so many other great games out there to play.

Should be interesting to see if they addressed the 60fps issue. I'm sure they did though, or I hope.

Re: Is it time yet?

I can specifically remember watching an early-round Pistons playoff game the day the cover boy was announced one year. The cover boy is always announced first, with some details to follow. So, you're looking at mid-April. Nothing comes out after the Pro Bowl. The first Madden glimpses of any sort (and it's usually nothing detailed) is when they start pimping the game during the NFL Draft.

I'm just assuming they will fix that. If they bring back alot of the past gen features like formation audibles, formation subs, multiple camera angles, etc I will be much happier. The one big thing I'm worried about is them fixing the cpu QB AI so they don't make as many bad throws AND go deep more often. I'd also like to see players have more weight and see the game play a little faster myself.

Unlike many people, I have a really good feeling about EA's football games this year.
