Exactly. A lot of people, before the feature list was released, were saying that they just wanted all the features from last gen to be in the game. Now most of them are brought along, and many people then changed their tune from "now they are calling these features?".

Anyhow, I am once again excited about the upcoming release. The fact that features that made the PS2/Xbox versions of this game, great are making their way onto the current gen has me really excited. Also, the fact that the PS3 version will be running at 60fps this year, doesn't hurt either.

I keep forgetting about Campus Legend mode

In NCAA'08, everyone at the office created a guy, played through the highschool playoffs, played through 3-years of college (a few of us even won the Heisman), and brought our guys into Madden.

It gave us something to talk about all day at work...I'm more of a dynasty guy, but playing through Campus Legend in '08 served up some good times and conversations("My guy had 3 sacks last night", "Oh yea? Well my guy scored 3 TD's lastnight", "Well my dude made a game clinching INT").

Then with EASportsWorld, we could send each other videos and pics of all of our personal highlights (which took the trash talking to a whole'nother level), so I'm really excited to see if Tiburon has expanded on that mode in 2009.

Great point, I hope EASportsWorld returns. They sure did have lot of difficulty with it at times last year.

Doesn't this comment get muttered every year before release?

Not talking about '09 specifically... but every single year guys are pointing out the "feature list" when most of us make fun of it anyway. There's always knocks on EA for returning something that was in a game years ago and touting it as "new."

I wouldn't consider those that want to wait until the game comes out before deciding the PR items are worth getting excited about "falling for the hate."

I don't understand why people feel the need to defend this game when there are issues with it and people admit that.
