STILL NO REFS ON THE FIELD!!!!

from watching the trailer i noticed there are still no refs on the field during gameplay.what a joke.10 yard fight on Nintendo even had refs on the field.

It won't become important until Tiburon finally decides to add them unfortunately. I'm sure this will be the year when reviewers feel online leagues, sidelines, pre/post play anims, etc. all suddenly become noteworthy and important features where they really didn't matter much the past 4-5 yrs. The fact that something like appropriately populated sidelines w/players and cheerleaders is a talking point this year, when they were in 2K5 dating back four years ago is total hypocrisy imo. Just like this clear visor thing. And I'm not trying to start a 2k vs. EA war; just saying if they weren't important to note then they damn sure shouldn't be important to note now, four years and a new system later

I wouldn't call refs a small change considering they have to have some form of AI. If they aren't in by now, and we don't see them by the next trailer or game footage, they're not in once again.

Yeah, it sounds dumb but I really hate that the things mentioned above are not in the game. I also noticed that Illinois' Memorial Stadium is somewhat realistic, yet not even close to what it looks like with the modifications. It will not hurt my thoughts on buying the game but sometimes the littlest details go along way with me.
