Features & Specifications NCAA Football brings college pigskin action back with a new break away animation mechanic that will allow increased maneuverability on the field.

Whether you're at the helm of a collegiate powerhouse in Dynasty mode or dominating the action using a simplified control system in all-new EA SPORTS" Family Play, life on the college gridiron jumps to life like never before with NCAA Football 09. Build a loyal following with an adrenalinepumping home field atmosphere and see if you can run the table year-in and year-out. With authentic collegiate animations, a true-to-life home field advantage, all-new Mascot Challenge, and EA SPORTS Family Play, it's never been easier to pick up and play NCAA Football 09, the most realistic and authentic college football game ever.

Features Include:

Fun, Accessible Family Play - Anybody can dominate the college game like an All-American with EA SPORTS" Family Play. An all-new playcalling system featuring simplified game controls and playbooks makes NCAA Football 09 the most accessible college football game ever.

Running Back Combo Moves - Set defenders up like never before by stringing together multiple moves, including jukes, spins, and stiff arms. Enhanced running animations provide a more fluid and responsive feel, allowing you to cue your next move while you're playing out another.

Play When You Want - Take full control of the pace of a game in Dynasty and Campus Challenge mode by simulating a single play, a quarter or half, or the entire game. Take the field or take plays off, it's entirely up to you.

All-New Mascot Challenge - Quickly go from a novice or mid-level player to All-American status by improving your skills and technique in a slew of practice drills that focus on passing, rushing, receiving, and defense.

Prepare for the Big Game - See what may or may not work on Saturday by practicing against an opponent's playbook during the week. Fine-tune up to 10 plays on offense in hope of having a greater chance of success when playing against live competition, or practice with Crowd Noise in an effort to replicate the game day atmosphere.

Re: A little info on the ps2 version of NCAA 09...

family play is pointless- is the look, feel and play of the game somewhat decent ? what proves that?

I am one of the few that still likes mascots in the game though
syracuse orangemen are hilarious

This sounds like a cool feature. Can't wait to use in on my PS3 in 2011.

lol @ the fact that Wal-Mart was the initial source for the PS2 feature list.
