With both games set to release in the next few months, thought id see which games us OS'ers plan to buy. I know i used to be a Madden only guy until about 2004. Then for two years i played both, and sadly, the last two years, i havent touched Madden. So, which do you prefer (or will you buy) and why?

(Posting this in both forums to give it a fair shot).

I have to mark BOTH but I've always liked NCAA better than Madden and it's (IMO) always been better, except for possibly last year where Madden was quite good despite the hideous radio announcer guy.

Personally I find that I enjoy both.

To me they are similar yet different enough to enjoy both, and they work together so its even better.

I like NCAA over Madden.

I can't play Madden. I can deal with the flaws in the engine but only for NCAA.

I haven't bought Madden in years. It's not that I consider NCAA the better game, it's just that I prefer college to pro, and I've never quite been able to play both titles simultaneously. After playing NCAA for a month or whatever, putting in Madden feels so awkward, there's no reason for me not to just stick with NCAA. Not to mention, the player-turnover factor with NCAA is a major draw in terms of replay value. Playing Madden deep into franchise mode (or whatever they call it) isn't quite as immersive because you've got the same guys year after year; in the college game, every year is fundamentally a different team.

Both... but if I had to pick only one it would be NCAA.

NCAA easy. However, I buy Madden EVERY YEAR and exchange it in less than 2 weeks for store credit. EVERY YEAR!!!!
